I assembled some mockups, lined up engineering, and pitched a revamp of our entire signup flow. I gathered whatever information I could and pitched it. It felt strategic. Big and Game-changing.
But then a data analyst on the team quietly asked:
“Did you check where the actual drop-off was happening?”
